Sorry for the terrible joke but... Occasionally the indicators on my Yamaha YBR125 don't blink when turned on, but instead, stay lit solid (as does the actual indicator light on the bike) I just have to turn it off and on again for it to indicate properly. Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers

Usually two things cause this, either a sticking indicator relay or not enough juice is getting to the relay to make it flash.

Does it flash if you rev the bike up?

Failing that locate the flasher relay and give it a tap, to see if it starts flashing if.

Worst case could be a replacement flasher relay is required.

Hi,

New to the forum so hello everyone.

I recently had a similar problem on my Cagiva Raptor 1000. The cause was incorrect bulb rating. Basically my indicators are 12v 10w and I changed the orange cases to clear lenses and they came with new orange bulbs but the rating of these bulbs was different , something like 12v 23w (Not quite sure but different).

I guess this only applies if you have changed them recently.

Cheers for the tip. Of course it hasn't done it for a couple of days now, but when it does I will try reving up to see what happens. I'll also ake this info to the place I bought it (It's only about a month old) and tell them. (That'll make them happy lol teach your grandmother to suck eggs and all that.....)
