Right the story goes like this.

My housmate has a hot girlfriend. After a night out on the lash last night she reveiled that she really likes me.

Ehat the hell do i do??

Never had this before so not sure. My housemate is also really one of my best mates and has been since we started uni together. Any advice is much apprecited.

Never touch your mate’s missus while they are together, if she has feelings for you, then she might well be thinking of ending it with your mate.
After this has happened you could tell your mate (sometime later) that she has expressed interest. This is a kind gesture from you, he can’t go mad at you, only be a bit, miffed.
He won’t be over the moon, but she's not his property anymore.
It's harsh but true.

Perhaps you could talk it through with her, plan out how the split will go and how you can get together. IMO all of this is fine as long as when you get it on, she's not in anyway connected to him.

the fact that you even had to ask advice shows that theres part of you prepared to betray your supposed best mate, personally i think you should just totally ignore what she said and if she brings the subject up again tell her you will for your friends benefit never mention it again and put it down to her being drunk, then when she eventually dumps your mate for someone else be there for him thinking what a lucky escape youve both had

I had this problem before, however I wasn't living with my mate, so it wasn't quite as bad.

Depends if your mate is quite serious with this girl or not, my mate didn't really care that I had his bird a week after they split.

I have been in a similar situation before but there is no dilema here, it is black and white. Don't go near her.

My mates girlfriend misinterpreted my drunken 'I really like you' once as 'I really fancy you and want to start some kind of affair'.
I got a phone call from her at 3am on a Thursday night to say that she 'really likes me'.
I was very shocked and confused, but was also wary of the fact that she had behaved suspiciously before.

Luckily I lived elsewhere so didn't have to see her much but my response was to frankly tell her to forget about it. That's it.
They broke up shortly after and we don't see her much so that's sorted.

Don't be fooled by the flattery or your own vanity, her motives are probably twisted. Don't even entertain the thought or conversation with her.
