does anyone else feelas tho they get so wrapped up in the things there doing they forget about whats happening in the world?

i started contracting and working away just over a year ago and all ive gained is a few extra pound notes and a beer gut! and i havent seen quite a few of my mates in the last 6 months, broke up with my g/f 8 months ago, the bikes been in the garage all year, the cars a state, had a RED leter from next of all places!, and havent been in the gym for 8 months either

so, does anyone else feel like they get too tied up in working life? while other aspects of life pass by?

Im the opposite, i find my self so wrapped up with life that i often completely forget about work entirely. This obviously means i have fuck all money, and the likely hood of me getting another job is slim, which is going to be a problem, as im getting the sack tomorow i think. All this really doesnt bother me though, work just enough to live, never live to work. Money isnt the be all and end all of life.... Im sure blue peter can give you a demonstration on how to make a motorcycle.....

***and heres one i made earlier***

I am currently entirely wrapped up in A2 work, to the extent that I am stressing myself out by trying to ignore it. Deadlines make everything worse. If I don't get ABB, then I can't get in to Uni–should be OK since I managed straight As last year, but theres always doubt.
BAD bad bad, I could talk about it forever. Pisses all your lecturers off, did last year and is doing this year–but can't help it, it happens. Should turn out for the best Neutral
