CBT is a piece of piss, (what are you doing it on). the theory (lasts about 2 hours) is the most borin thing youll do in your life.

125 manual could of done it on a pull n go thing but i thought it would be better if i get some experience in gears before i get my bike!

Good idea to do it on a 'real' bike, those twist and go things give you no real appreciation of what is involved in riding a real bike. You could have made a complete arse of yourself when you try your first manual bike Smile

ye its good for starters todo it on geared bikes, if u got no expirience,

saying that i jumped on a geared without the training or expirience of gears except cars!

I did my CBT on a honda melody, I had ridden motocross bikes before, went to get on a yamaha sr125 and the gearbox was well dodgy...not surprising really if it'd been used at a bike school, so they let me do it on this honda melody thing. I got 29mph out of it flat out down a slight sloping hill, it did about 24mph on flat Rolling Eyes
