Newbie here, both to the forum and to biking - I've got my CBT on Saturday which I'm hoping I'll do OK on! I'm looking forward to riding...it's something I've always wanted to do but when I was living at home my parents always forbade me from getting a bike I've got a full car license so I think I'll pick it up fairly quickly, I can ride a push-bike but I've never touched a motorbike in my life...I can't wait

So yes, anyway, hello!

Welcome to the forums. You'll do fine. The previous experience with driving a car on the road means you'll probably be perfected fine on the road if you can master all the basics of the motorcyle and the training given to you by the instructor.
