hi guys, im getting married next sept, and whilst the 'fiancee' Laughing is sorting out most of the arrangements, it has fallen to me to arrange the cars to take us seperatley to the church, then together onto the reception.
ive sorted hers out (a nice old rolls royce), but mine is a bit more tricky...
basically, i want something a little different. im thinking along the lines of a nice old ford mustang/dodge charger/mercury cougar, etc.
or maybe an old brit or italian car. i dont want a mercedes, jag or bmw..and she wont let me arrive on a bike, i already asked her! Sad
so, can anyone point me in the direction of a hire company that can help?
cheers Thumbs Up
ps. i need to be able to drive the car myself, so i dont want a chauffer (sp!)

Have you googled prestige or luxury car hire? There are plenty of them.

yeah, ive found a few but the places with the cars i want wont let you drive the car yourself. one place has a dodge 'general lee', that would be ace, but i want to drive, not be driven!

As you live in Malvern, why not a Morgan?

I don't think you'll be too lucky finding a company to lend you the car to drive yourself. Insurance and all that (especially with the "flash" cars)

Thought about something like a fire engine?! Laughing Or a police car?! Cool Thumbs Up

Sorry jamie but if he pisses her off on her big day he's gonna be in shit for the rest of his married life.

Give her what she wants and let her be happy, if it rains on the big day she'll be gutted, if it rains and she gets a soggy groom she's not going to be giving him his marital rights.

A shot at the brown eye Laughing

You want an old Spider:

Then you have every right to call her Mrs Robinson all night (If only Praying your surname was Robinson - that would be genius)

I always felt the coolest Ferrari was the F40.

Could be difficult finding places that will allow you to drive on your own though.

An atom would be cool, although you'd get wet should it rain.

I always thought the F40 looked kind of sad, as if it were undervalued, or missing a piece of its soul.
Poor thing.

Was in the same situation this time last year, yes we got married on Aprils fools day Laughing

I wanted a flash car to take me and then to get me and the missus back home. I was looking at a Aston Martin or something similar for around £700 for the weekend. To be fair I couldn't justify it seeing that I was paying for everything Sad

In the end we settled for a chauffeur in a brand new BMW 7 series for £150 for 3 hours hire.

stretch limo with lapdancers in it, to make the most of your last few minutes of freedom

admittedly, this may go down worse than showing up on a bike.

she may have banned bikes, but i get she said nothing about trikes
