My mates just got a Kwak ZX7R and hes found a tuning company that will fit shorter conrods to it. They reckon that it will take the capacity out to about 800(which I can believe) and they reckon that itll push the power to about 140bhp. They way I see it all that will do is lower the compression ratio, the piston would start lower in the barrell then not move up as far so will end up being much lower than with standard rods.
Surely this would mean that the burn would be less efficient and even if power did go up torque would go down, wouldnt it? But then it would rev up faster, with less diatance to go on each rev.

Or am I just talking bollock??
