Did you fill up at a Tesco?

They had a dodgy batch of fuel just over a week ago.

Would appear to be.....

Or it could simply be that the timing has been set wrong.
What bike is it ?

Do you use it daily or just occasionally?

I ask this because unleaded fuel starts to break down after 2 weeks, it goes "stale" and is less efficient. As an alternative to using Super unleaded you might try a fuel additive such as Pro-FST or one which slows the deterioration.

The aftermarket timing advance will make your bike a bit sensitive to differences in fuel. My bike can feel completely different if I try different petrol stations. Tickover becomes erratic and I loose some top end power.

I suppose the easy way to find an answer is to fit the original plate back on.
