Makeshift Fuel Gauge

Is there anyway i could bodge up a petrol light for my nc29. Because at the moment there isnt one. Its just the petrol tank tap mounted on the side of the bike, which is confusing at the best of times. I would just like to get something which gave me a definite indication of how much fuel ive got left, as well as removing the need to fiddle about with it whilst my bikes coughing and spluttering. Or dying at a red light.

I wont bother if its going to be a major hassle, benifits outwieghing inconvieniences and everything

if it dont have one to start with then it will be difficult and expensive. forget it.
