Hello ever1 im gettin me bike 2morro Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
just went down to me dealer to look at it and wel it was in bits in a crate being built Exclamation Exclamation
its a UK spec 2001 NSR 125R is it meant to be flat pak??

i ordered it last week and wanted it ready for 8:30 tomorrow spoke to the mechanic who said "what!? 2morrow?? hmm.... mabyee ready around dinner time"
CHRIST??

oh well walked off with £200 worth of grear (Mortax Sparkies Richa Leather Pants and a magnum lock)


seriously people is the NSR 125 flat pack?????

Yes mate.
All bikes get shipped in crates with the front wheel off and sometimes other parts inattatched.
Then they get put together and PDI'd(Pre delivery inspection) to make sure theyre ok/get them ready to ride.

Yea, it makes it a whole load easier for them to be transported: they can just chuck them in avan rather than having to tie them down etc.

It's very cool, in the manual (workshop manual) there is a picture of the bike arriving in a crate (essentially a boring picture of a wooden box), then comprehansive step by step instructions how to assemble it!

1. Remove lid of crate
2. Take out front wheel

etc etc Laughing

Most mechanis cetainly seem dodgy - its just summat to do with them always being covered with oil I think. Most of them are generally ok though.
