I have booked my first track day at Castle Coombe.
There are about 9 of us going and we are all first timers.

I then have a 4 week break and I am off to Cadwell Park Smile

Has anyone got any advice regarding these tracks.
In fact any advice at all would be good.

Nervous ! .. likely to move onto shitting meself very soon !

Castle Coombe is OK, fast and a little bumpy in places, you'll enjoy it. Very fast start finish straight (bizarely I need to gear the bike higher for CC than any other circuit, inc Snetterton, as i rev out early on my usual gearing at CC!) kink left then fast right hander, chicane, left kink, not quite as fast right hander (Tower) and immediately after another chicane which comes up at you really fast, straight, chicane, right hander back to start finish straight. Only problem with CC is noise testing, they're very strict, make sure you have a standard can fitted.
Cadwell - lovely circuit, you'll love it, my second favourite after oulton. No need to worry, it'll be fine.

General tips - lower your tyre pressures to around 32psi, use good tyres with plenty of tread left, change your brake fluid and use quality dot 5.1, good pads help too, go at your own pace, learn the circuit and build up speed gradually, don't be afraid to ask others for advice.
