that would be overly helpful if you could
so you think that motrax/demontweeks those sorts of companies would be good for indicators and stuff they will be compatible with my bike as they are universal i am hoping

If you want the sound of a loud exhaust, my 2 cents is lop off the lid of your airbox! It'll sound rate lound and bog down, but it's cheaper than sticking an aftermarket zorst, which doesn't necessarily make more power, nor does it necessarily mean just because it's a 125, you'll get a can for cheaper. Live with the bike, run it on neglect and sell , it's what i did! ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1

Mechanically it's always been maintained (usually by my Dad), I just couldn't be arsed washing it all the time . The few times I did wash it it was filthy by the next day so I just decided not to bother mostly. It really is in good condition though, just a little rust on the downpipe at the front as I said.. and that's a common thing.
Got my XR from a local Suzuki/Kawasaki dealer. The guy who owns the shop knows my dad and he got it in a part-ex from some old guy who used it just to pass his test, let him know and we had it within a couple of days. He also knocked £100 off it. ____________________ :: Honda XR 125 L ('53) => Kawasaki GPZ 500S ('02) => Suzuki SV650S ('00) => Aprilia RSV-R ('51) :: |

A bigger engine?
I have an XR125 and it's great but I do wish there was a little more top end in mph. ____________________ Gixer 750 |

agreed mate.
the top end is just not there at all really is it
in my opinion with a little more top end the engine would be a top quality one, i dont know if its just me but through the bottom end its alot faster than i thought it would be!
hmmm i dont believe there is much opportunity for tuning and bigger bores would be silly!

Well then G, you probably wouldn't know about the time me and Smoto went off roading and i err fell off on an embankment on my XR then And i dropped it in a big puddle and thought i flooded the engine!
It was a fun bike for wheelies and stoppies. It more than made up for not having mph! ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1

I'm sure it would have a higher top end speed with a 6th gear fitted! |

yeahh like a two stroke accept as reliable as a 4 stroke that would be nice
a sixth gear well my left foot thinks i already have one
shall be trying to wheelie it then since it is good for wheelies not yet tho i rather like it as it is
fyi it cost less to fit a 173cc big bore kit than a clip on exhaust!

I have no clue how to maintain a bike... (No maintenance)
I have no job at the moment... (No money for oil)
I like my environment very much and from a geographers POV i prefer my 4 stroker
you dirty 2 stroker you! ____________________ 08/11/2007 A2 Passed.

From an environment point of view you should have bought second hand - and a second hand two stroke would have left you loads of money to pay people to maintain and your bike and feed it with oil . |
