Fu*k, bollo*ks, wa*k, cu*t, s*it....

Oh well Korn I hold you totally responsible for angering the forum gods by starting the crash thread... what happens.. I post my reply and this evening SMACK.. straight into the back of a van.. poor R6 suffered lots of cosmetic damage to the fairing, front and mudgard but even worse is the fact that as I was sliding along the road on my elbow (ouch Crying or Very sad ) the throttle has sheared off the handlebar completely.... bugger! so was unable to ride home... had to wait 2.5 hours for an RAC man to turn up (I was in Brixton for gods sake, anything could have happened to me!) and eventually got home.. at least the bloke I went smack into was a Majestic Wine Warehouse Delivery person and said he would send me a case of wine!!!.. so now here I am, hacked off that I cant ride me bike, my elbow is swelling up like a balloon, my ankle hurts and i think I pulled a muscle in my shoulder Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Will post some pics up tomorrow when its daylight and i can get some pics..

Anyway - sorry to rant but Im not happy!

Hello again!

Well in the cold light of day, the damage doesnt look as bad as I first thought.. (well not compared to what Zim has done to his bike recently!!)..

Hopefully a few new comsetic replacements should have her looking as good as new - worst bit is the throttle.. got a new one on order so should have that by monday..

Still a bit sore around the edges (I think I took more of the blow than the bike did!!)

Here's some pics if anyone is interested:

Shocked Bloody Hell Rob mate!

Glad you're okay. Best thing after a crash I've found is a long soak in the bath.

Good luck gettin it fixed.

Hi

That is AA policy. They will pick you up and they will charge you for it, and try and claim off your insurance for it. This is the reason we moved from the AA to the RAC

Sorry to hear about the R6 Rob. Hope you and the bike are sorted out soon

All the best

Keith

unlucky mate, hope u and the bike are better soon, in the mean time while u ride it around looking a bit tetty u can use the excuse me and my mates use all the time when ppl try to dis us, 'at least we ride to the edge of our bikes ability and know what it feels like to surpass it' hehe, utter bollocks i know but it does impress and stops ppl taking the piss (u cud also insult them on the size of their chicken strips if they've got any)
