I'm changing the plugs on my Dad's '94 ZX9-R, but none of my spark plug sockets will fit into the space. They're all too thick. I've tried about 5 or 6 different sockets. I also took off the rocker cover to see if it would be easier to get at them but it's not, and to get any closer the cam caps need to be removed which is alot of hassle, and is unlikely to help
Where can I get one to fit, is it something I'll need to order from Kawasaki?
Thanks,

lol, arn't they a bastard
i bought one from halfords for a fiver,
make sure you buy the socket and not the t type sparkplug socket.(i broke the t type)
have fun
i think they have them labled up as the thread size eg12mm instead of the actual socket size, so take a spark plug with you just to make sure ____________________ the humans are dead

If you have the toolkit still, you may find what looks like a way too short, thin plug-socket with a hexagonal end. The hex-end should take a socket out of your metric set, which will enable you to turn it ok.
Tip - when you put the new plug back into the socket, slip a bit of paper down the side to hold the plug in place... ____________________ Now - Speed Triple, old ratty GS550, GSXR750M
