If you know the certificate number you should be able to get a duplicate.

Would have thought you could, contact the DSA and see what they say.

im not sure you actually need the certificate, when i took my car test i didnt need to show the examiner my theory pass certificate and i think the fact you have booked your test with a valid certificate shows that you have passed your theory. I passed my car test 1/2 a year ago so i doubt it has changed,

although i dont know if its the same for the bike test,

According to the DSA website you will need your Theory Test Certificate number in order to book a practical test www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/LearnerAndNewDrivers/PracticalTest/DG_4022539

I also seem to remember that when I did my practical in March the examiner asked to see my CBT certificate and Theory Test certificate, as well as my driving licence.

You might try contacting the DSA to see if you can obtain a copy certificate or just visit the test centre and ask them what you have to do.

Go to the training school who you did your CBT with and ask them for a photocopy of the certificate carbon-copy. Then check with your test centre to see if they'll accept a photocopy. If not, at least you have the number of the certificate to get a duplicate sent to you.

You can't get a duplicate CBT cert, you have to re-take it. as for theory cets, iirc the examiner will ask to see your test confirmation letter, license(both parts) and valid CBt all as said above. Thumbs Up

Well actually you can get a duplicate CBT certificate but you will need you're form number, well thats what the CBT centre I did mine at told me. How people manage to loose these important documents though is quite staggering. Any piece of paper related to getting me on a motorbike was treated like it was sacred and was all put in one safe place - the location of which I was absolutely certain of.

Depends who you did your CBT with. You shouldn't have to retake CBT if you've lost the certificate.

But that's off topic anyway, wasn't this thread about a lost THEORY TEST certificate?!? Confused
