Just got back in from the Ariel Owners Club LDR (Long Distance Run). We do it every year in different parts of the country, this year we were based in Llandindrod Wells in Powis and the run was 150 miles long.
I know a 150 miles is not very far but we do it on some of the worst (best) roads in the UK. With brakes for food etc it took on average 7 hours to get back to the hotel.
A few pictures of us old farts having fun.

Eugh, I spy a Napoleon mirror Laughing

Looks a nice day, Wales can be quite nice, so long as you dont meet any of the people, or visit the towns Laughing

Stopping must have been difficult by the end of the run... Shocked

Why not just take a few chocolate Hob-Nobs next time? OK, they're not reknowned for their stopping properties, but they are a tasty biscuit.

LOL I knew I had spelt it wrong but I am too tired to think how to do it properly! Actually chocolate brakes on Ariels might be an improvement on the factory fitted ones.
