is that the yellow one with the curvy tank and the single round headlight?

but if I was in the market for a 4 stroke like TJ and curryhead said I'd just get a cg. If you want added style mayve consider the honda cityfly- gotta be better quality.

you can find some pictures of it at www.brmc.co.uk - bottom of the page!
I'm interested in this bike because I only have the choice of a CG or SR and the RT looks 20x better!
It also has a front + rear disk, 15bhp - slightly more than the others, which makes a difference.

PS, I don't want a 2-stroke and am limited to a learner leagal bike only!

But surely if you want to ride a bike, its more important what it rides like not what it looks like?? Cool

dont listen to rob, he has an R6 with a personalized reg plate.

seriously why not a 2 stroke? they are a lot more fun as 125s.

post a pic of this muz one so we can decide, but if you want a 4 stroke you probably want to get something bigger as soon as you pass your test, so instead of wasting money now on a new bike get an old cg for £250, pass your test and get a decent bike, then leave the cg in thew back of the garage for winter, or when you get your licence disqualified.

Hi, thanks for your replys!
I can't afford a 2-stroke with the insurance and maintenance. All I need is a cheap shit 4-stroke, saw the RT and comparing it to the CG and SR, it makes a 125 4-stroke look good!
Not bothered about performance yet.
Also, I'm only 5'6", so I need something small to start off with!

you will want performance within a week, 2 if your a pussy.
insurance? have a look at the older NS125R (before NSRs) or Yamaha TZRs, Suzuki RG125s, all that stuff. A new 4 stroke is not gonna be cheap to insure either.
running costs are not steep for any 125 unless its race tuned and running fully synth 2 stroke oil. semi synth was costing me about £3 a month on my NS.

>>I can't afford a 2-stroke with the insurance and maintenance.<<
The NS125, TZR125 etc are all insurance group 4/5, so not *that* bad and my NS was probably more reliable than my cg (though I did slide my cg along the road a few more times Smile )

>>All I need is a cheap shit 4-stroke, saw the RT and comparing it to the CG and SR, it makes a 125 4-stroke look good!<<
It's hardly cheap though, as it's new there's not going to be any second hand ones around. For the purchase price of the RT you could get a cg or even NS etc., insure it, do your test buy some decent kit and still have money to spare.

>>Not bothered about performance yet.<<
That's what I said when I got my cg, lasted for about 2 weeks!

>>Also, I'm only 5'6", so I need something small to start off with!<<
All the bikes mentioned are fairly small, so that shouldn't be a problem

one RT125. Not bad, probably looks slightly better than the cityfly IMO but similar. Aren't MZ's notorious for being shit and unreliable though?

I hope not cause I'm really interested in one.
I looked at the Yamaha TW125 and it's around the same price.
If I got the RT - it would be different, no many people would have it.
u know, like the R1 + R6 = everyones got one 1!

well if it comes with a 2 year warranty then reliability's not an issue!

Have you seen the honda cityfly? it looks similar and its a honda- I dunno how much it is new but second hand its cheap.

mz's were unreliable but i think they have been taken over in the last few years and are producing some really good quality bikes these days. its just a shame the are called muz because its like a kind of racial prejudice really. no one buys them

muz bikes are supposed to be good and cheap, but full of little niggles due yo the parts being assembled in 5 different countries - british design, final manufacture in germany, but some troubles in the middle.
it looks like a bmw f650. quite nice for a 125, but i would still go for a 2nd hand honda if you really want a 4 stroke 125.
