i rub vaseline on my zips if they don't run too well, it normally frees them up after a couple of goes.

Been sat unused for two years?

Almost certainly needs the carburettor cleaning out and any old, stale fuel dumping out of the tank and replacing with fresh stuff.

yep all the fuel will be stuffed, dump the fuel (good for killing weeds on your patio) remove the carb and clean out the varnish in the float bowl (bottom of carb)
get some Wynnes Carb Cleaner from halfords (failing that injector cleaner will almost do the same job)
get a new spark plug while you are there.

put everything back onto the bike but before you put the plug back in, drip a couple of drips of oil in through the spark plug hole to help every thing get moving again.

put the plug back in, pump the gas a few times and try and start, once its going just let it idle for a bit before you rev it out.
have fun Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Bin old petrol then give it a basic service.
Change plug £5
Oil £10
Filter £6
Clean carb and air filter.

Then let us know what it runs like. All are simple cheap jobs that can be done by anyone. Do not drip any oil through the spark plug hole as that won't help things at all.
