Well i low sided my bike wednesday on a tight country lane bend, shiny surface, wasnt pushing it was almost up right but it went anyway.
Damage is crack in front fearing, left indicator gone and left rearset needs replacing. now not to fused about the fearing crack, will pop that in and leave it be for a while, all i really want is the rearset so i can get the bike out on the road for this good weather. After searching ebay and not finding many of them for my sv k3 model i decided to look for spare sellers.
Well i found one that looked pretty good so i sent them an email asking what i would cost for a full left rear set including the gear shift rod thing and how soon they could get this to me. Now bear in mind ive seen some go on ebay before for around £60 or cheaper for the complete rearset and in nearly new condition.
They were very quick at getting back to me and advised it would be £184 including P&P, well my reply was kind of blunt stating that i was not going to pay that much. I then got a unheaded reply back saying it is crazy prices and the hanger itself is £43.75 inc P&P.
Getting to the point, how can suzuki justify this sort of price where for £300 i can get fully adjustable racing rearsets both left and right included in the price. Its just insane ____________________ My Bike Pics |

Some people call OE fairings Japanese Gold for a reason. I don't know how/why they can charge so much, probably because it's official suzuki spec.
Get the trick rearsets!!! ____________________ My Flickr |
