Removing bar-end weight from clip on

Bike is a '00 (Curvey) SV650s

The end of the clipon has a threaded hole, and a screw goes through the bar end weight.

The screw has a phillips head on it, and really doesn't want to come undone.

Any suggestions for getting it off?

(I only need to get that bolt out, cos I need to buy another one to go in the other side. Karma

if anyone happens to know the size of that bolt )

Drill the head off and undo it with pliers/mole grips. Should come out easy.
