Hi

Well Colin has probably told you, but the Stormy Petral on the A41 on a Thursday night, Bassets Pole on a Tuesday night, Bradford Arms on a Monday night.

What is needed with the Gatso cameras is a way to trigger them without breaking the speed limit. This way they would take you to court and you could prove you were not speeding. After a load of attempts they would give up. If enough people did this then the whole money making scam would collapse with the excess paperwork

Still like the story of the 2 plod in Scotland doing a speed trap when a harrier flew nearby. Although they denied it, it is obvious that they tried to clock the aircrafts speed. Result is one fried radar gun. The police complained to the RAF whose response was along the lines of "what do you expect trying to get a radar lock on a military aircraft. You are lucky it wasnt armed or a missile would have followed without pilot intervention"

All the best

Keith

I was thinking about something along those lines... but it'd be quite good if you could have a little hand held radar device that you pointed at the gatso... just leave it in a parked car during rush hour so it set the Gatso off every coupla seconds.

Easy peasy my children.
Simply apply a thin coat of vaselene, (No jokes here please) to the lens, camera goes FLASH !!! Very Happy
film is exposed, Wink
film is developed, Smile
result... a highly prismatic picture of an unreadable number, looks like pretty fog !!! Sad
the petroleum element in the vaseline refracts light in all directions, producing a Kaleidoscope image ha ha ha ha ha
This works, my mate has one outside his house and he has done it loads of times.... Razz
Abit of sand in the vaseline is also good , helps to scratch the lens when they wipe it clean !!

Curryhead - Ive often set cameras off when Ive been heading towards them, when Ive been on my side of the road. Some are angled more towards the other side of the road than others, and these will flash you. Cant do shit tho.

yea, I thought about getting a car(or van, A-team stylee Smile ) with a sunroof and getting a paintball gun... drive round all the known local gatso's pop out of the sunroof for a few shots (well, you don't need a sunroof but it'd look cool Cool ) and then off to the next one.
It should still take the photo's as the the radar bit won't be covered.

But I'd quite like to set them off at the wrong time, if this kept happening the general pubilic would get *really* pissed off with them.
