20 mins ago. Slowing down Coming up to a roundabout next minute i know back wheel just starts sliding like mad (i didnt see any diesel on the road) throws me sliding into the roundabout with car on its way round at this point im preparing how to take the landing somehow f**k knows how i manged to get control just before actually hitting the roundabout and thanks to the car drive who clearly seen i was in a bit of bother and slowed down before i even was on the roundabout . My heart is still racing now.

Down gearing with the revs too high and not blipping the throttle will cause the rear to lock and skid.

Thats definatley a possiblilty then im pretty new to this biking stuff i will take that as lesson 1 and just thank god it was any worse.

it's odd but the only thing that really doesn't bother me when riding is if the back locks up and slides around....

I guess it's all the years of BMX'ing and Mountain Biking where kicking the back end out whilst it's sliding is par for the course... Confused
