Adjustable Tail tidy (stupid Q)

yup, it's time for... Stupid question of the day

some of you might know i purchased a Motrax Adjustable tail tidy, when it arrived i removed the bottom part of it and removed the part for indi's to attach to, I fitted it to the bike but the f*cking thing came apart and I lost my plate.

Now... Instead of paying another 25 quid for a tail tidy does anybody know where I can buy a hinge? it MUST be an adjustable one that I can adjust the tightness of so that the plate just doesnt flap about all the time.
