....is Himself's 50th Birthday and we are having a bit of a bash to celebrate. All those of you that know us and are free are welcome to join us for all or part of the weekend, we are going to spend the weekend at his favourite campsite near Holyhead. Plan now is that we will be there from Thurs night, leaving about teatime Monday, and people are welcome to join us any time between Friday and Monday. If you get there early Friday you may find you are press-ganged into helping put the party tent up though!
We have a 20ft by 10ft gazebo to take, along with a couple of smaller ones as annexes, just in case the weather is crap.
Plan is to spend the daytimes doing your own thing, the beach is only a 5-min walk away (so bring inflatables, even if it rains you're not going to get any wetter........) and where we are most likely to be, Holyhead is a 10-min drive for shopping, there is some cracking scenery to explore on foot or in the car/on the bike etc etc. Evenings will be dedicated to BBQ and fire, chilling and possibly some acoustic music if we can twist a few arms. That will be on the beach if the weather permits, otherwise on the campsite.
The site has a toilet and shower block (basic though), a small shop for "essentials" and there is a bar that does limited food just by the entrance. Other than that it is just basically a collection of fields.
If you think you can make it for all or part of the weekend please let me know and give me an email address, I have already spammed some of you with the flyer with address etc on but can always do more!
This will be a fairly family-oriented event, and children and pets are welcome as long as you keep them under control.
