Honda MBX50

Hi,

I am wanting to sell the Honda MBX50 which I learnt on while I was 16. Its on a B plate, 1985, and is a 'learner legal' 50cc for a 16 year old. The engine was rebuilt as soon as I bought it, which was 3 months before I was 16. As its a Honda, you can expect the reliability and 'bulletproof-ness' of the engine, it never let me down once, and still goes well now. Have been spending time on it recently cleaning it up ready for sale, have resprayed all the panels, looks good now in black, was originally white. Got 23400 miles on the clock, had a rear tyre 1500 miles ago and a piston and rings about 2000 ago. There is a small tear in the seat, nothing major.

EDIT: The headlight cowl has now been finished and fitted onto the bike.

This bike would be really ideal for someone who wants to get into biking, or just simply learn how to use a geared bike, I chose this MBX over a scooter for those very reasons. May even be an ideal commuter bike to get to work on, it was really cheap for me to insure, £200 for a year at 16.

I will be looking around £250 for it, and am based in Plymouth, Devon.
