ive recently noticed that my sidis have worn through the heal and like most shoes they have pockets of air in them so there are just holes now in the heal. not through to my foot by annoying never the less.

i was wondering is it possible to get them resoled as the grip is mostly gone too.

That's impressive... I've had my rain evo's three years, wear them everyday, for walking the dog, walking around uni/college and have done over 40000miles in them on the bike.. and mine arn't worn through.. however the insides are tatty and the armour cuts my ankle and heel if I dont wear thick socks Sick Thumbs Down

If another boot fitted me I'd buy different.. and as for 'non slip soles' I'm glad Sidi dont make tyres Shocked

Yep,

Just go to dover with fishing rod and catch your own, and stick it to the bottom of your boots. They're pretty good at restaurants too, but you're gonna spend the best part of 20 quid for that piece of flat fish Rolling Eyes

Oooh, you mean THAT type of sole Shocked Very Happy

You should have got alpinestars with the dual compound bottoms that's pretty sticky Razz

To be honest this is why my next pair of boots are going to be something other then Sidi. I'm on my 2nd pair and I had the same problem with my first pair. I wore through the sole in under a year Confused God knows why on earth I bought the same boots again Embarassed.

I'll give my current pair a few more months until they become unusable and end up with a giant hole in the bottom. Only bought them last September Sad.

You know you're supposed to put your feet on the pegs, right?

I've crashed my rain evo's twice.. I mena crashed not fell over.

I've fallen over in them countless times on manholes etc.. damn soles.

Mine are three years old, have done 19500mile on the GPZ, 21000 on the varadero 125 and 12000 on the NSR125..

they lost their waterproofing after I used them as wellies at the very wet BMF.

The sole is coming off abit.. I blame kicking the ball for a persistent canine.

I however have limited choice in boots as I have very narrow feet and even the ladies rain evos are loose on my feets any other make really are like wellies

so I'd buy them again, except maybe go for the race ones and keep my old pair for when it looks like it really will rain and mean it

sidis are good strong boots and on their main site in spare parts there are three outer soles available and i know there are places that re-sole the mx boot because its related to trials, but so far no luck on my vertigos.
