Or new triumph scrambler?
Just wondered what are they like compared to 'modern' bikes?

reliability, everyday useability? I really like the classic looks but dont want to keep braking down all the time.

They are fine.
Though the thruxton apparently is quite uncomfortable.
Plenty of reviews on the web, give 'em a look!

Scrambler looks awsome, I'd love one. Post pics & review if you get a test ride

Goose rode one and really really liked it iirc.

He did a full review thingy so it might be around if you search for it!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

They use a modern DOHC engine so no reason why they should be any less reliable than any other modern triumph.

Which did Goose ‘review’ scrambler or thruxton? I tried searching but nothing comes up?

Hows the finish on them? We went to look at a couple of speed triples and they were going rusty in a number of places, that’s on 04-06 bikes too!

They need looking after I'd say. Goose rode the Thruxton when his Tiger was in for a service.
