A ponder about Midsomer Murders

Well the TV is on ITV (was watching Loose Women ) and now all of a sudden Midsomer Murders has come on.

Basically for those that don't know it these 2 chaps.....

are the village policemen, and everyday someone seems to die and they solve it.



But what i'm pondering upon is if its a small villiage and someone dies everyday surely the whole villiage would be dead? And Maybe they keep catching the wrong person!?
