Hello all,
i've been having a few problems with a cg125 that i have. It is a 1988 CG with a 1995 CG engine in it (the 1988 one had a crack in the casing).
I had to change the wiring loom as well as the 95 engine is a CDI and the old one isn't. also airbox and carbs have been changed.
The problem i'm having is that the headlight and tail light are very very dim and i can't figure out why.
Everything else is working, all switches, lights and indicators. The horn also works.
I have a haynes manual for the cg but it does not cover the newer CDI models.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
Ewan

My tail light is very dim since there is a 12v bulb in there but only a 6v battery.

I have no idea what voltage my bike should be it seems the front is all 6v bulbs etc.. and the back is all 12v.

Maybe you have something similar going on
