Hi I normally where 2 piece leathers.

However my jacket isn't the best for summer and last year I ended up using a mesh textile jacket for a lot of the time. (even though they have dubious safety).

I'm happy enough with my leather pants. But can someone recommend a vented jacket (that will have zips for trousers). I've looked in a few places on the net but am struggling.

I've been to Jordan bikes in Leeds, but they didn't have anything suitable. I don't want a 1 piece suit as I use the bike for commuting and its too much hassle.

I like the mesh jackets for the cooling, but I am looking for the safety of leather.

Cheers everyone.

Hi I could try going in to Leeds to JS or Hein Gerike, I was just wondering if anyone had a jacket they could recommend.

The last time I went to R&S the council wanted £2.50 to park on a Saturday, even though I only wanted to go in for 5 mins, hence i've never been back.

I've got a Knox jacket thats superb in the summer. Two long zips running up the back and one under each arm.

Its made out of keprotec which is supposed to be very resistent to wear and tear since it contains kevlar, obviously it also has full knox armour fitted.

The other materials in the lining are also supposed to cool you down.

Whatever else its made out of makes it very stretchy, a bit like spandex, so it also makes a good attempt at pulling my belly in.

Alpinestars have good mesh jackets, your looking for mesh in the arm and chest areas. Joe rocket also do highly rated leather summer jackets. Sorry for the blatant advertising but, what size are you? I have just the job for sale at the moment Razz
