Hello all!

I'm interested in a set of Swift Viper leathers but am unsure about the fit and have no way of trying them on because no one local stocks them but I have seen a good deal online.

I've spoken to a shop about the two piece Viper suit and they reckon the Swift's come in a bit small so have suggested getting the next size up for the jacket and trousers. My Frank Thomas Strike two piece is a 40/32 and the jacket was snug when I got it and has stretched to fit and the trousers have always been comfortable but the 40 Joe Rocket GPX I tried had a tighter fit jacket and trousers than the FT 40. I have a 38" chest, 32" waist, am 6'1", and weigh 12.5 stone.

Has anybody had any experience with the fit of Swift and should I buy the Viper in a 40/32, 40/34, 42/32 or 42/34? Confused

I hope you can help.

Their RRP is £400 and my FT was £380 and has been fine.

I'm really annoyed with myself for not buying the Joe Rocket suit I've wanted for a couple of years when I saw it last year, it was just bad timing with Christmas. Sad

Probably not the best phrase then.
I still think they look shite, and I haven't exactly heard glowing reports. I definitely wouldn't pay £400 for them.

I'd look at a Teknic Chicane or Lightning suit for that money.

Not much help to you though, I suppose. There's a thread in this forum on those leathers (though in 1pc rather than 2pc), you could try contacting the guy who started it.

EDIT: Found the thread. This guy paid £165 for a viper suit Confused

I wouldn't pay RRP for them and have seen the two piece for £175 (£190 delivered) and the one piece for £150.

If it's the thread I'm thinking about I'm sure I've posted in there already.
