Only thing not legal on my bike is i'm lacking the back L plate, it came off about 2 months back somehow and I never got around to buying a new one.

well, i had my MOT today, so yes, today i was, tomorrow, i will swap to a smaller plate. only an inch smaller the plate anyway, so its not taking the piss.

The exhaust is too loud with the baffle out, so that stays in.

And i have a road legal tinted visor, so no problems there.

the only major thing thats illegal is the speeds i do sometimes!!! Mr. Green

Apart from a can but it's debatable whether it's illegal. I make sure my plate is legal because if anything guarantees a pull it's a credit card size plate.

Hi

Think the only bike on the road or close to being on the road which is not fully legit is the Bandit with a removeable baffle.

Although the FZ750 numberplate is a touch dubious but the correct size. But is also about 20 years old.

All the best

Keith

ive got an exhaust that failed its MOT. I use an iridium not for road use visor, i sometimes take pillion even tho im not insured for it. So no, im not 100% legal.

BUT!!!!!

i wear the visor because its safer than wearing sunglasses according to a policeman! my can is BS stamped. And the pillion was another biker who i took down to the garage so he could pick up his bike. IF a copper wants to fuck you, he WILL find something to fuck you on.

My rear tyre is a bit dubious at the moment, but otherwise I'm legit. And the tyre will be sorted next week.

Completely legal now I've put a standard can on. Dont see the point in small plates, and too old to be affected by restictions!

Dark visor, my plate is only slightly to small and the text is not plain so could be taken the wrong way.

100% on a dull rainy day. Dark visor on a very sunny day. How it should be really.

No rear reflector, no pillion pegs, bike brakes the 0.16 bhp/kg power/weight limit for new riders.

I've put my bike is legal, but after reading the thread I was reminded that my bike is missing a rear reflector, and I sometimes use a dark visor.

I'm also thinking about getting a slightly smaller plate.
