I think we should have a section for cars - problems, advice and just pictures in general. Yes I know this is a bike forum but people have cars too.

After seeing some crap wrote in Graham88s corsa thread - i just think it'd be better if people that dont like cars dont have to look in.

Its not only Grahams thread - but in the last week ive seen at least 5 car threads - 2 what cars?, one about MOT costs, vehicle loyalty, and abandoned cars.

Whats you think? I think this has been suggested before.

Yes, it has.

This forum's MAIN attraction is Bikes and consequently attracts People who have an interest in that subject matter. The Random area is just that, a part of the site for those people who are initially attracted by the 'Bike' part of the Forum to talk about anything.

There are plenty of Car Forums (even Model Specific) that follow a similar format to this one and cater to those that are attracted to the sites main interest.

The Internet is such a massive place that I'm sure you could find a site that caters for your need to discuss cars and will by its' very nature have a better expertise in that field Thumbs Up

I could see the point in a car section, but BCF's main quality is that it's BikeChatforums. totally agree with steveH. If people want to talk about cars, there's random banter or just a car forum. putting a car section up would irreversibly change BCF as it's known.

There are thousands of car chat forums on the internet, and I bet that anyone who has a real interest in them would prefer to talk about them on a forum which actually has a wide range of knowledge. Would you ask about how to strip down R6 calipers on a Corsa website?
