the long search is over! har har Mcgee Orly!

Woo hoo , I HPI'd the bike it came back clean, I asked beardy Kenny (a local mechanic who looks like an
older version of Stinkwheel to look at the bike in exchange for a case of beer he said it was VGC it sounded
perfect, and he agreed with my conclusions when I'd looked at it earlier.

I asked BMW man to come look he said buy it,

Say hello to my little friend:

£1875 as decribed in my rambling is this a good deal CBR600F thread, he even didn't charge me for delivery (40 miles)
which is v good. And the engine oil was cleaner than when I went to look at it , and he'd flushed the front brakes
since the fluid was looking a bit dark last time I went to see it, it was also 950 miles less than I'd remembered on
the clocks.

a few pictures for you,

Priority mods before I take her on the road (NTV is still my day bike al la Craig- ism he's a Man Utd fan but
has much bike wisdom)

Scottoiler (missing shaft drive goodness already) or is this overkill for a weekend bike?
HH pads + braided hoses
An extra horn (NTV has 2 it sounds 1 so weak) or a Joe type 150db type horn
R&Gs just in case
Hugger
Possible a dark screen.
Number plate for touring purposes
LED type bulbs all round

Thank you for your patience!, now only 365 days till OMG rambles I can't find another bike Smile

Why? If you have time to beep you have time to brake. The only times I have used my horn were:

A) On the Easter Egg Run going through the centre of Blyth.

B) Checking it worked when I bought it.

Thank ****ing god Laughing .

Nice bike there though matey! Wouldn't bother with the bigger horn though, unless you just want to use it to scare school children etc. Also LED lights after coming from an NTV? You've turned into a tart already Razz . Also scottoiler may be a bit overkill for a weekend bike, doesn't take more than a couple of mins to lube a chain manually.

no Gaz a local mechanic prefers my NTV lots , and strangely enough CBR VS NTV on tight twisty roads say Snake pass , or the Longridge Clitheroe route have extremely close 'lap' times, with the CBR being better for suspension and straight bits , while the NTV is a bumpier ride but in corners is still very fast (the way me and Gaz ride them).

I do like it in a hack sort of way and I do still ride it lots , CBR is for play NTV is for work , and commute,

I actually do think I like the NTV lots too, its just come to a stage were something goes wrong on a very regular basis

EDIT

the NTV is also a helluva lot easier to maintain , no fairing , shaft drive , 3 valves (6 total) which can be left for 20K at a time easy to remove and service carbs 4 sparks , and incredibly simpliestic design while the CBR just getting to the engine requires alot of work. (next bike will probably be something naked).

EDIT 2

its also alot less prone to being nicked , and costs peanuts to repair

But the CBR is good for picking up floozies, they see the NTV and they run away!
