Not an excuse to turn into a speed-demon, but good news, eh!?

Sounds like common sense prevails. Noticed a few bikers out on a Bikesafe course (I think) with a few police bikers on the way home to Cardiff from Swansea last weekend. Hope they didn't get caught speeding first! :P

I massively avoid Wales unless on the way to Dublin, because of this very reason.

Wales has some great roads and the border is just over an hour a way, but I just view it as a police state.

Saying that I view Scotland just the same, after seeing the hidden cameras on the bridges just above Gretna.

Hopefully when Wales & Scotland become independant, speeding there , will only mean a fine (like in Ireland) and not points. I can cope with a fine.
