look for a little number pad icon on one of the "F" keys, hold down fn and press the number pad icon - sorted!

Quality!! It was actually the Num Lk Fn Key but hey, it worked. Aahhhh the freedom of being able to type normally again Very Happy So yes, much love for you! I actually couldn't have stuck that for much longer! I am wondering how I managed to get it like that though... Awk well... Problem solved.

Cheers again!

for what it's worth, it sounds like stick keys - a charming little windows feature for people too lazy to hold down modifier keys. If it happens again, try tapping the fn key five times and see if that sets it back

On laptops there is usually no numberpad.

Manufacturers build a numberpad feature in that takes a square section of keys (Say, TYUGHJBNM) and assigns them numbers.

It works on a toggle, you usually need to press 'Fn' and then find an Icon that looks like a numberpad and press that as well, a light will usually come on near it to show you you've got it on!

Crap idea, but it's there nonetheless.
