I was there yesterday, absolutly crowded out IMHO.
Stafford Show grounds £8.50 entrance and you need all day just to scratch the surface. The Bonhams auction is good fun to watch.

My parents were there, I asked them to steal me that new spondon framed norton race bike if it was there.

So if it wasn't, they've done their job.

Classic bike shows are only good for one thing, and that's cheap cable ties.

i was talked into going

i went expecting it to be a few old blokes with a few old bikes

i certainly didnt expect a hefty entry fee

however i did enjoy the endless stalls of tat

but trying to get my money's worth probably meant i stayed a bit long

i bought a five pound depp handle bar, and a leather jacket for £15

but i do think it was a bit of a wasted day really when i could have been on nice country roads instead of going up the motorway and back to look around a few stalls

The entrance fee is what put me off too. So instead, I just burnt £8.50's worth of fuel as I knew I'd be guaranteed a good day out.

Hi, I have just got back from Stafford , I thought I recognized a BCF member with white and gray camo gear on(was it any one ?) , also saw a bloke who looked the doubble of 1930 Ariel.

I spent £50 Sad , I bought loads of bits for the Ariel and had a really good day out with my dad.

And all the nice bikes in the car park made my dad decide that once the house is sold he is going to by a Harley Davidson.

Very Happy Very Happy so happy Very Happy Very Happy

I finally get to be seen on a nice bike at last, ( you lot might not like it tho but its a better bike than what we have now Laughing)

On the way there we were pulled over by a bike cop Shocked (we were in the car) but all it was was because a wide load was coming the opposite way ( and no I wasen't the wide load Mad )

well I had a good day and am truly nakerd after walking round all the stalls.

Cheers,
Jamie.

There are a lot of buggers that look like me at these gigs. Bald head and big beard is a popular look this year for old blokes.
Did you drop onto the Ariel Owners stand?

I did indeed mate , there was some nice Ariel's on the stand.

I also think I seen a bike that has been in CBG was some sort of Norton with a white checkered flag on a yellow tank.
