I'm currently looking for a 125 bike for my girlfriend. I was at the local dealer today and i came across a Suzuki GX 125. It's much like the popular EN 125 but not half as well known.

I'm worried because I can't find anywhere online that supplies GX 125 parts. I know it's a suzuki etc etc but the lack of information on the internet makes me worry.

Anyway who has one or has had experience with one please let me no Thumbs Up cheers

Never heard of it, but a quick google shows that most of the info comes from kiwi sites.
I wouldn't bother trying to get fancy; just get her an old CG125, that'll do fine.

it's hardly fancy, and compared to other bikes of the same style it seems a decent price. We've been searching for a while now and this is the best one that's come up. We'r on a budget which restricts our choice. So far there hasn't been a CG worth looking at.

It will be a decent price because there is no manufacturer support or parts.
You can get a perfectly decent CG for £500. CGs will last for ever and ever, and if she's only learning on it then she doesn't need it to be pristine. They're bulletproof. My friend just dug one out of the shed, CB from late 70s I think, and got it back on the road without much trouble. Runs sweet even after 30 years.
CGs hold their value, too.

Your choice though. I'll wait for somebody who knows something about the GX to come along.

right i see. well ill ask the dealer if they are able to get hold of the parts. As said, we're pretty restricted. So if you can find a CG for £500 that is local to us then brilliant. If not then we really need to look in to everything we come across

Here's one for £600 with 14k on the clock.

I think you are in Notts. That's about the best I could work out from the map.
