Hi folks,
I totally stripped my SZR660 since I needed to drop the engine, I took the opportunity to powdercoat the frame and swingarm.
Well I'm now staring at a very extensive pile of freshly re-finished parts and it needs reassembled.
Confident as I am that I can get it all back together, I feel a little out of my depth regarding the correct order to do it in.
I'm thinking along the lines of "dropping" the frame itself over the engine and bolting them together as a starting point, then assembling it into a rolling chasis from there.
I dont fancy trying to "lift" the engine up into a rolling chasis, when the frame is freshly powdercoated!
Any advice from people who've done this before, particularly tips on the best order to do things in, would be much appreciated. ____________________ Yamaha SZR660 Caution to the wind, the throttle pinned! |
