AGV - Adjusting base plate for flat race visor?

Hey,

Just got my flat race visor from racevisors (top quality service) and it doesn't 'click' when I shut it, it just sort of wedges.

I phoned racevisors and they said to 'adjust the base plate' because the visor is flat rather than curved?

WTF is a base plate, and does this sound right? It makes sense...

I assume that'll be the bit where it hinges on each side of the lid, some of them unscrew so you can move them round a bit.

Not familiar with AGVs but that's where I'd look first.
