Terry Calcott is the World Record Holder for the fastest wheelie of 172.9 mph over 1km.
The record was set on his Suzuki GSXR1000 in September 2006


Sadly, Terry has died in a motorbike accident in Germany on 28 April 2007 aged 35
He leaves behind his son, Tommy and his daughter, Parris
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
We will always love you Terry.
The details of his funeral will be posted here as soon as we know.
Family flowers only please.
Donations to a Trust Fund for his children are welcome through Cooks Funeral Service, 72 Broad Street, Chesham, HP5 3DX

Ghost Rider held the fastest wheelie. 215.?mph.
Terry held the wheelie over the 1km.

I rode with Terry on a few trips to Europe [ assen, magny cours etc]

what a fantastic bloke, genuine good company, incredibly skilled rider Clapping

as we now know sadly he died on a recent trip to Nurbringring....

my sincere condolences to the family, you probably have little idea how big his biking circle of pals really is [people like me and my pals]

i understand the funeral is tomorrow 12th May

Amersham Crematorium 11.30 Milton Chapel.... suspect it will be a big turnout ....
