Ive just bought a torque wrench for £14.99 from Argos
your thoughts please would you use this or am i better off and going to halfords and buying the £50 one?

i dont usually skimp on stuff for my bike but thats due to my bikes age, but if it works i dont see a problem.

I would say the only real problem might be if it's not properly calibrated.

Wouldn't recommend something like that for "Trade" use.

I've got a similar 1/2" drive I got from Screwfix a few years ago. It works ok but isn't the best for lower torques.

It will work great.....as a hammer.

Looks like a rebadged Clarke one which are complete crap. Quite a few of them are defective from new but if you manage to get a monday morning one rather than a friday afternoon special they can be ok for larger torques. For anything less than 100NM i'd use a better one.

My housemate's got one, and I'd agree with SpannerMonkey

Useful for the rear wheel, but I wouldn't use it on anything else
