I've narrowed my search for a new helmet down to the AGV Stealth and the Ti Tech.

I had my heart set on the Stealth but after hearing the Ti Tech is a more solid model, I'm really not sure any more.

So if you have either, I wouldn't mind hearing about your opinions on them so I can get a better idea of both.

Thanks! Thumbs Up

Get the Ti Tech, I've been looking at them and it's the one I'd go for. Wink

TiTech FTW. I have one in Rossi rep colours. I can't fault it. Best try one on before you buy though, mine is a bit tight around the forehead, but I may just have a funny shaped head.

It's pretty light compared to my last lid too, but I'm not sure how it compares to other top flight lids weight wise.

I've got a Ti-Tech and a Shoei XR-1000 and while I like the Ti-Tech I would say the XR-1000 is better quality for the money and is a bit lighter too.

So why buy it, if it don't fit nicely? Eh?

If you don't mind me asking.

Fair do's.

My old Arai Quantum (Still use it for Karting) fits like an old slipper, but even so, after wearing it for a while it still leaves the old "Arai Red Forehead" mark.

Funny, because my Astro doesn't. Eh? Thinking

I've got a Ti-tech and it's a great lid. Wind noise is minimal, vents are good, quite light and the visor is very easy to interchange Thumbs Up

The only thing that bugs me about it is that it has a very long chin strap, but i guess that's because i have an XS helmet Thinking Laughing

p.s. i've just noticed your signature!! Laughing

It's known on the forum that Colinwall masturbates furiously every evening over the "BCF female calendar" picture of you.

Stealth is good for the money. I crashed in mine face first... no brain damage.

Thumbs Up

It's questionable that you had one to begin with though. Wink

Personally I find the Ti-Tech fiddly. The Shoei XR-1000 is much quicker and doesn't feel like you're going to snap something.

I thought that i was going to break it to start with, but i guess i just got used to the way it sounds and clunks when you change it. You are right though, there are lids with easier visor mechanisms than the Ti-Tech.

Same, but i think the Titech is easier than the Arai RX7 Corsair system amoungst others.
