Right as you know im after a Bandit, been having a good hard look.

Found a 2000 which looks pretty nice apart from the one minor dent in the tank apperantly.

Should i steer clear?

how did the dent occur? I had a small one courtesy of a car throwing up a small rock that hit my tank, not something that would affect the bike

Ive not got hold of him to ask, id imagine its been down the road slightly. Because i have a dent in my tank, from when it went down the road.

Theres a couple of older better looking examples on biketrader tho.

well im assuming that if hes chucked a bandit down the road there may be some damage to the engine casing to check out for, anyone owning a bandit should have the engine crash bungs really, they look huge compared to your other bungs but once in place dont seem so prominent, in the five years i had mine it never needed any work whatsoever and although a lot of people slate the bandit i can honestly say it was the best bike i owned, mind my gixer doesnt scare me anymore so is definately my favourite now, next bandit i get will be black and unfaired so i can fighter it

buy a tank from Berties in Chorley mint £60 will buy a good one I bought 2 for my
NTV for £55 (I holed my first one) , and the other one serves as a dodgy endurance
