2002 nsr import

can you lads help me i have just brought a 2002 nsr import bike and i have read that the bike when derisricted will only do 85 is this true or is there any way of making it go faster like getting a new cdi unit many thanks for your help taz

I also have an imported nsr from belgium and have the same problem if you do come up with any answers please could you share the info.

If you are going to buy a cdi unit, buy it used. Cost less, and works the same

the reason 4 the slow speed is that in other country`s the restriction laws and speed r all different.aswell as the bhp.yeah u can get a bit more more power out of a uk spec but i got my 2002 import for £3200 and a uk spec was £4000.800 quid is alot when u aint got much to spend.and they look the same.as 4 a cdi u can change it but at a price. Cool
