 |
|
Just looking for a bit of advice on what camera to buy as I have close to none knowledge of them to be honest, apart from the basics.
I have a limit of £400 and I've been told these SLR cameras are the business.
I basically want a camera for taking shots at road racing/trackdays but also for stills of landscapes etc. Basically an all-rounder I'm looking for really. I want to be able to do effects and stuff (as far as I know you can do this before its doctored in photoshop?)
At the minute as you can probably tell I'm not the best photographer in the world but its something I've wanted to get into for a good while now and thought I may as well have the best camera possible to start with so I don't have to fork out again a few years down the line.

Hi
Most of the time Canon users say to buy Canon, Nikon users to buy Nikon.
To be honest I would say go with what feels best to you, and possibly down to what other SLR equipment you already have access to.
Seen Canon B grade 400D models for £300 new with lense. Which is a pretty good deal.
Both systems have a decent selection of lenses for motorsport use.
All the best
