Erm we all know the DVLA is crap but how long does it usually take for a V5C to come back with your name on it , seems like the Cbr has been absolutely ages I can't remember how long it took last time.

And how long should I wait before doing something about it?

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

You should allow two weeks from when the seller posts it to Swansea. It it doesn't arrive then you can apply for a new one yourself - if you have the green "New Keeper Supplement" then they should waive the £19 fee.

Of course if the seller hasn't sent it off... But that's their problem, not yours.

Sometimes the DVLA do manage to mangle things - I got the V5C for my DR350S sent to the industrial estate in the next village. The only thing that was right was my name, but somehow the Royal Mail managed to deliver it to me.

I bought a bike at the end of December and I rang the DVLA in February to enquire if there was some sort of problem and they told me that it could take up to six weeks (how's that for efficiency?)

It still hasn't arrived so it looks like it's going to cost me 19 quid.

It shouldn't - if you've got the green "New Keeper Supplement" then they should waive the fee.
