Hey Peeps! Mr. Green

I've had my zx7r for about a month now and really happy with it but want to have a stage 1 tune done to it.

I've had a dyno run done before, on my cbr, but just want a rough idea how much a set-up could cost. I've got no problems fitting the jets/needles myself but just need them to finish it off and make sure it's running properly. Does it vary depending on bike?

Cheers! Thumbs Up

Hi

Fitting the jets is the easy bit, difficult bit is to know which jets to fit and how to adjust them (eg, needle position, mixture screw position).

Best bet is to ask the local places. Chances are they will do a better deal if you are buying a Dynojet kit from them anyway.

John Warrington Motorcycles have a good reputation for setting bikes up.

All the best

Hi Keith,

I would have thought you'd get some kind of fitting instructions with the kit. They're bike specific aren't they?

If I were to get it done I'd probably take it here,

https://www.dynomaxuk.com/index.html

as they are local and I've had a dyno run done there before.

Cheers Thumbs Up

Hi

They are bike specific, but also specific to the mods you have done to your bike. Basically they are a kit to allow you to adjust the jetting. You still need to know what you are doing to get the jetting right.

All the best

Keith
