good idea or a bad idea?,

I saw a big black VFR800 '99 15K up in Darwen a few weeks back , I had a picture of its number
plate, it was £2000 , he wouldn't budge even a little bit and I bought a CBR600 FX instead wanting
a bit of performance before going onto a lardy tourer when I'm 30 or something, thinking of the opposition
that will await me in a few weeks time ZX6Rs , CBR6 etc, and thought nothing more of it

yesterday I walk into ESB for some brake fluid , and lo and behold I see that VFR800 with the
same number plate (well its got the same numbers but its a new place with ESB at the bottom)
with a price sticker of £3400 on it!.no warranty , the guys even cashed in the tax disc.

How much do you reckon ESB (a big scummy dealers in the middle of Bolton) paid for the VFR?

I'm sure they wouldn't have given him more than £2500 for it and by my reckoning thats a good £500
profit for virtually no work!.

how much do you reckon the scummy dealer gave to the buyer of the VFR? .

Or is it cus they are a dealer they can cheaply fix anything wrong with it, quickl

Any thoughts?

Ta

They wouldn't give you the money cash would they? Surely it would be a part ex?

When I worked in a guitar shop we would give peanuts for cash buy ins and pretty good for Part-ex. Sure if he sold it to them cash, he'd get about £1500. Probably. . .who knows.
