me and my dear friend in his first car (pug 106) decided to see what its like to be a boyracer for the night, turned out to be actually hella' fun!
about 10pm at traffic lights, a car blatantly faster than us pulls up, looks at us, revs and nods, so we gave it our best and lost pitifully, it was some 2 litre pug 306, but it was fun.
just before we got to the next set of lights, this 306 pulls in front of us dangerously at the last second, i thought 'hmm, odd'.
now from leaving this set of lights and arriving to the next ones, a massive brand new land rover thing did the same thing to the 306 pug we were losing against, and they started racing, it was hilarious to watch! this 306 was getting completely dicked by a landrover, and we were just trying to keep up watching the whole thing happen.
soon as we got to the roundabout on the devon side of the tamar bridge, we got and gave a few toots of the horn to eachother an were on our way.
i thought it was fantastic!
this was going on for about 20 miles or so.
i always thought the boyracer chavs were just aggressive little wankers, but this seemed to have a nice friendly atmosphere.

I prefer the term Street Racer Wink

Remember patting about with a scooby in my calibra didn't stand a chance but it was fun. Got him off the mark a few times.
